Kyklion Pavilions
Kyklion Pavilions
“Kyklio Pavilions” is conceived as an introverted microcosm, organized around a clear circular geometry. Individual autonomous volumes are arranged along the perimeter, forming a continuous boundary that defines and protects a central open-air core. The composition is based on the inversion of the inside–outside relationship: the dwellings withdraw from the surrounding landscape and open inward, where water, light, and movement shape the primary spatial experience. The swimming pool operates as both an organizational and symbolic center, around which everyday life unfolds. The volumes, defined by soft curvatures and a solid material presence, are inscribed within the circular layout, establishing a coherent morphological language. Stone cladding and earthy tones anchor the project within the Mediterranean context, while the preservation of existing vegetation reinforces the continuity of the natural landscape. The architectural gesture draws from the typology of the Roman villa, reinterpreted in a contemporary collective living environment, where the shared space becomes the core of the spatial and social experience.
